Emerging oboist Alexandra Lambertson is currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Juilliard School as a student of Elaine Douvas. She completed her Bachelor of Music at the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Richard Woodhams. A regular member of the Haddonfield Symphony in New Jersey during its 2006-2007 season, Ms. Lambertson is also an avid English hornist. Currently, she plays with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Art Symphony Orchestra based in New York, and in a quintet in the New York Woodwind Quintet Seminar. A new music enthusiast, she has premiered student works from the Juilliard composition department. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Ms. Lambertson also studied with Roland Perrenoud at the Geneva Conservatory. She has attended music festivals at Colorado College, the Orford Arts Centre, and Domaine Forget.
